I am a high school science teacher, and I think a nature table is an important part of my classroom. I had my STEM Club help me revamp my nature table, and my latest blog is about how we did it:

Hi Sarah

Great that this is being introduced into the classroom.

We're really keen to get more teachers and schools blogging through the site. Any other teachers out there keen to get involved?

We'll be running a Wildlife Blogging Awards at the end of the year and I'd love to include a schools specific award within that.

I have just written my latest blog about our recent, very blustery, walk through Foxley woods, part of my local patch in Norfolk. We haven't visited this beautiful wood in quite a while, but I always love visiting it, even if it is a little spooky at times!

Here's a short blog about our stroll around RSPB Buckenham Marshes today, lots of wigeon as per usual, and some lapwing acrobatics:

Today I was very excited to spot my very first water rail at Pensthorpe Wildlife and Gardens near Fakenham in Norfolk, and get a photo of it! You can read about it on my blog here: http://wildlifelocalpatch.blogspot.co.u ... rdens.html

I feel your latest blog omits some crucial information, Sarah - did the hot chocolate in the café include marshmallows?

What an oversight of me Seth! Unfortunately it did not, but it was accompanied by a yummy chocolate triangle...

Another visit to Pensthorpe, not as cold this time, and no water rail, but good sightings of a Eurasian crane and muntjac deer!
