A Soon-to-be resident of Britain

Hello Everyone,

I'll be landing in your fair land in November and I am looking forward to explore, photograph and document its natural assets.

While I will miss my Aussie bushlands, I am looking forward to getting involved and up to speed with the conservation scene...and capturing some good shots of the many owl species.

I have purchased a couple of issues of the Discover Wildlife magazine and I am a big fan of the BBC's nature programs. I plan to become a regular visitor to this site and hope to share some views and information with others here. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Graham nice to meet you - always good to hear news from the colonies!

Do me a favour and before you leave have a VERY thorough look through your bags and make sure you're not bringing any spiders along for the trip... :D

My aunt lives out in Oz and keeps inviting me over - she doesn't seem to realise that Australia is a continent designed to be inimical to human life where every single plant and animal would be out to get me!

Hope you enjoy posting here
