I have real concerns for our female at the moment ... no sign of her for a while. I would expect the eggs to hatch late this week but this has been thrown in jeopardy now.

Update and new pics below ....

The chicks have now hatched and are just over a week old I believe ... the feeding is well under way, but is everyone pulling their weight ? I am not so sure ... ;)

Update and new pics below.

Hi

It has been a while since I have last updated the Kingfisher blog. I have been away visiting friends in June and July ... but I am back to spend a little time on the stream.

I had a quick visit yesterday to see what was happening ... here is a brief update.

Hi

I have been away much of September on holiday and busy during October so the Kingfisher blog had lapsed a little ... :? ... but I have made the occasional visit but they have been slow months regarding anything worth reporting. I am not really selling it here ... :D

But I have a new hide for November, in a new location, so I am hoping for bigger and better things ... but here is the link to the year so far ... (just skip Sept & Oct ... ;) )
