Local Patch Report: A Walk on the Wild Side

Postby malvika » Thu Jul 09, 2015 1:59 pm

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog: A Walk on the Wild Side, where I will be reporting on wildlife in Barbados.

http://www.caribyte.com/malvika/index.html

After taking a closer look at wildlife, I found it really inspiring and fascinating that these animals are so well designed to live in their environments.

My first topics are the Atlantic Ghost Crab and the Sally Lightfoot Crab.

Thanks for reading!

Kind Regards,

Hi Everyone,

It is quite a rainy day here in Barbados this morning!

I have updated my blog, with another section titled "All Fuzzed Out."

http://www.caribyte.com/malvika/blog.html#AllFuzzedOut

The first animal discussed is known as the "mongoose."

Enjoy!

Hi Everyone,

Please see the following changes made to my website:

The information previously recorded, can now be found under the heading "Wildlife Guide"
http://www.caribyte.com/malvika/wildlifeguide.html

Under the section "Blog", I will be recording obervations of wildlife, based on a specific time period.

For example, my first entry for this section can be found at: http://www.caribyte.com/malvika/blog.html
and is about what I observed at the beach I frequent, yesterday morning.

Thanks for reading!

Kind Regards,

Hi Everyone,

Please see the update to my blog below:

Also, some general information about monkeys on the island:

It wasn't the best evening for photography, as it was quite cloudy. However, it was great to watch the wildlife.

Enjoy!
