What is your setup?

Hello everyone!
I have got question: what is your setup? What body and lenses?

I am using Nikon D5100. I have got two lenses: KIT Nikkor 18-55 and Tamron 70-300.

Nikkor is nice for portraits and action photos like kids. Tamron is great for photographing birds and rugby matches.

What is your opinion? What setup you using?

Starling murmuration

At the weekend I went over to Otmoor near Oxford to watch the starling murmurations. Amongst the amazing patterns they made in the sky was this one that looks like Mary Poppins flying in with her umbrella.

Rare Visitor - Wood Duck (Aix sponsa)

The other day I was surprised to find that one male Wood Duck joined a local Mallard Duck population.
Impressed by its colorful presentation I couldn't help myself but taking some photos of this beauty.

Do tell me how do you feel about this image I am attaching.

Thank you.

All the best.

Grey Squirrels - Friend or Foe?

I was wondering what peoples thoughts are on the grey squirrel that's native to North America. I live in Ireland and for years people have told me that they are a pest. I can only assume that this is because, since they were introduced about a century ago, they have caused a decline in our own native red squirrel and that has obviously upset a lot of people. Apparently it is due to more competition ...

Racoon escape

I used to know that raccoons (racoons) can climb the trees without any problems. However I could not imagine how easily they can climb also the upright walls of multistorey buildings. And, what a surprise! I come upon one of these guys on the balcony of my apartment on the 4th floor!
