I can't upload any of my pictures as an avatar because it keeps saying it not the right size or something.
I have pictures of different sizes but none of them will fit.
The other forums i've been on i have been able to upload my pictures as an avatar easily with no problem.
Its the circle of life

Hello all,

Hawk_Eye wrote:In regard to the post before my previous one I was wondering why there weren't any of those buttons on each individual post.

The quote button is available at the top of each individual post, in the top-right corner of the post frame.

The forum-based user galleries are no longer available after our move to the new system, in favour of the new Photo Contests available on the main site.
We'll be looking to your feedback to see whether your own user galleries would be a popular feature - not just for the forum, but for the Wildlife site as a whole.
In the meantime, you can use other free services to host your images, such as Flickr.

Your avatar can be a maximum of 150 pixels wide and 150 pixels high. Images larger than this will not be able to be uploaded, and will need to be resized first.

Thank you for your continued feedback.

Just to let you know the only button in the top right corner for me is the "Report this Post" button.
Everyone should see the Earth from the edge of space just once.

The past is just that, the past. Today is what matters.

Now have a delete post button in addition to the report post button. Is the website still having the finishing touches put to it?

Hi, can you help? I have spent some time trying to get my head around this :) I understand that changes were made to this site breaking image links to personal posts on the forum? It is my understanding that we are able to edit these links to images to our personal posts only. But where is this edit button? Sorry if I'm missing something obvious but I cannot see any edit function?

Well, I must say the makeover is absolutely great :D

I have gone back over a few of my posts and re-submitted them because of the change in html for images and links within posts. This was prompted by another forum member complaining that the images were not visible in one of my posts. The changes worked and the posts are now readable. Would it be posible to automate the changes throughout the forum to restore other peoples posts and the remainder of mine?

Cheers for now

Peter
