I'd love to make series that David Attenborough has presented.

I'd love to make Springwatch and Autumnwatch.

I'd make my own documentaries anyway: http://uk.youtube.com/NatureonScreen

i would make one on anythign and everything. i believe that ll manner of nature is intersing and beuifull so would like a documentary/series on every animal in the world. i know it wold cost heaps and it would take ages but just think of how brilliant it would be. i dont think i would have a life apart from watching them though.

Documentaries highlighting the UK's wildlife are (particularly in the UK!) very useful indeed and to be encouraged at every turn. However, I'm afraid I would have to go to Africa...

to do a documentary on the termites of the Bushveld.

Love them!

I would like to make a film about a female otter and pups living in a town. Sadly the chances of that are very slim. Never mind, I should be happy to have made a film about a dog otter living in a town - a fantastic experience : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xh8D_zWwgaE :D

Well at the moment i love watching 'The Lion Man' but that only focusing on the lions and tigers.
I would love to watch something about all the big/wild cats. I would like to watch them in their natural habitat and in captivity, as im interested in consering these cats.
It would be very interesting to watch their behaviour.

I'd like to see something a bit different from the norm.
There seems to be loads of documentaries featuring the "usual suspects", lions, wildebeest, polar bears etc and these are great but there are thousands of other species which seem to rarely get a mention.
I'd love to see more footage of creatures like Okapi and Bongo - I don't think I've ever seen either of these spectacular big animals in a film? Fennec foxes and fishing cats are others that you rarely see.

To be honest I think I've probably seen enough footage of lions, cheetahs etc hunting on the plains I'd like to see something new.
How about a film on the bird life of the African plains/grasslands? You often see them in the background but they rarely get a mention in their own right. Secretary birds are pretty cool for example.

I'd like to see the BBC Natural History unit do some programmes on:

Lemurs
Dogs
Gibbons
Bird life throughout the world
Everyone should see the Earth from the edge of space just once.

The past is just that, the past. Today is what matters.

You higher mammal, can you read?

I'd really like to see a film showing how wildlife films are actually made, including the techniques and equipment used.
Many highly-skilled cameramen spend a colossal amount of time in untold discomfort just to capture a fleeting glimpse of their subject, and yet the presenters would have us believe that it's all easy. I'm also fascinated by the sound engineers - how do they get a clip of a polar bear swimming through ice floes with the sound of its breathing and splashing, and yet remove the sounds of the helicopter from which the film is obviously made? Very technical I am sure, but these crafts are taken for granted on modern wildlife films. Likewise the underwater shots - just how do they ensure that the sea water does not get into and ruin very specialist equipment.

The animal subject the BBC really really wants to bag, the Holy Grail of the BBC wildlife documentary team occurs around our waters apparently, but is too dangerous and too illusive to film. It never featured in the Blue Planet, despite being marine, and is the largest predatory invertebrate in the world - I give you the Giant Squid (or Collossal Squid - they'd take that too). Would be a stunning ....if very brief film!

Of course, I'd also like a thylacine film... and so prove it's continued existance. :D
