Loads of wildlife from within half a mile of my house- lots of goosander, some mistletoe, some roe deer and a short discussion on how development could ruin it all.

It's cold! So cold the local lake is largely frozen so I looked at how the local birds cope with this.

This week I saw a heron catch and eat a rat, some meadow pipits, and buzzards performing a mating ritual.
