How was it? Cream of wild garlic and nettle soup is delicious, bit of stilton helps it along.


Ran out of time – have been testing night-vision scopes for the magazine (see June 09 issue) so wild cooking has taken a back seat. Might have a shot this weekend. But your idea sounds a bit more interesting.

Almost any decent deciduous woodland will do - ramsons is a very common plant. At this time of year, entire swathes of woodland floor are carpeted with it and the scent of garlic can be overpowering.
