So excited to report that we've just become foster parents to a hedgehog from our local rescue centre. We'll be looking after Meadow the hedgehog until he can be released in the spring time. More details on the latest blog:

Had an absolutely fabulous day yesterday birdwatching at a local Worcestershire bird hide centre. Took so many photos that I've had to split this blog post into 3 parts. So first up the best photos from the reflection pool, including our best efforts with a Greater Spotted Woodpecker. Lots of photos on latest post.

Part 2 of this week's blog post about our amazing day at the wildlife hides. The second hide was set up for kingfishers and they didn't disappoint. Lots of photos and a few short videos on latest blog post.

Final part of my 3 part post on our visit to the local wildlife hides. This time an absolutely gorgeous kestrel. Such a stunning bird and wonderful to see it up close.
