Hi, I'm Isaac West, I'm 14 years old and I live in Oxford. I have a huge passion for wildlife, especially birds and I always enjoy being out and about in the wild. I also love wildlife photography and I greatly enjoy taking photos of nature. When I am older, I would love to be involved with nature.

This is my blog where I will report on the wildlife and birds that I see in Oxford, especially around my garden.

The link for my new blog is:

Baffling squirrels and signs of spring:

My latest post is about how I have managed to baffle squirrels and prevent them from reaching the birdfeeders, by using a very clever tool.

Also included, is about how signs of spring have started appearing in the pond.

Bird Ringing:

My latest post is about how I woke up early to head off to a bird ringing demonstration where I enjoyed watching multiple birds get ringed, before holding and releasing them.

Hopefully soon, I will be able to embark on training to gain a bird ringing license myself.
