I've noticed the past three weeks the wild garlic shooting up everywhere, smells wonderful when the sun shines, best to get out and there pick some young leaves while they're at their best.
I always find it under mixed deciduous woodland, especially birch/willow/alder etc., usually in damp areas such as the riparian zone. It's often downslope of bluebells.
Follow your nose!
Wild garlic is good in taste and smell. I like it a lot and use it in my cooking. It also effective for our health and control the blood pressure. Everybody should use it in cooking for good taste.
