Wildlife diary from Oxfordshire by Alex age 13

Lastest blog from my Local patch in Oxfordshire

Question from this blog :
Why do birds of different types flock together in the winter?

This is my diary of the wildlife where I live in Oxfordshire, and sometimes the places I visit. My passion is for British wildlife, especially Badgers and Hares. I have been blogging since May 2013.
I am a keen amateur photographer using a Canon SX60 HS. I also use a Bushnell trail camera and a Little Acorn trail camera to mainly film Badgers but also what goes on around my Local patch and at our allotment. To check out my latest blog post:

Abbey Meadows

Postby Appletonwildlifediary » Tue Jan 06, 2015 4:14 pm

A walk around Abbey Meadows and along the River Thames.
It was great to spot a Kingfisher and a Barn Owl, but unfortunately it was too dark to take any photos.

Awesome experiment, Alex! Have you let the Winterwatch/Springwatch/Autumnwatch team know about it?
