Hi everyone! A new blog post about our visit to RSPB WOW (Window on Wildlife). Such a fantastic place, an urban landscape surrounds it, but when you step inside, it's a haven for many species. A real place of beauty in heart of inner city Belfast.

Hope you enjoy it

Hi everyone, my new blog post is about the unlikely, urban spaces where wildlife can thrive and survive. It is about finding beauty in unexpected spaces and exploring places, perhaps you never really though about.

I hope you enjoy it.

Hi everyone, my new blog post is all about our visit to Murlough Nature Reserve. A 6000 year old fragile dune system with beautiful beaches, diverse habitats and tons of wildlife. We spotted loads and it was a fantastic, magical experience.

Hope you enjoy it!

Hi everyone, my latest blog on my amazing experience with Hen Harriers. A truly amazing spectacular dance between two males, a protector and an impostor. It was truly magical and a privilege to behold. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I loved watching these majestic raptors.

Hi everyone, this isn't a regular blog post but a link to a really personal article I wrote for Wildlife Watch - the youth branch of The Wildlife Trusts. It's basically about the power of nature, how it helps me make sense of the world; as a young person living with Asperger's. Also how I can use the skills which Autism gives me, to record, write, make friends and encourage young people never to give up on being curious about our natural world.

Hope you enjoy it.

Hi everyone, my new blog post is about how my garden/nature spotting provides refuge after a tough day at school. I spent less than an hour out there but saw loads of action!!! You can read more about who visited, here:

Hello everyone, my new blog post today is about the beautiful Black-tailed Godwit. We were lucky to spot twenty of them on a mudflat in Warrenpoint Co Down. They are very interesting birds! I wrote a little bit about them here -

Hi everyone, thank you reading all my posts so far! This new post is about the 'State of Nature' report which was released today. This isn't a patch report as such but it does highlight the factors which impact on all our 'patches'. A huge one for me, is lack of local youth interaction with nature. It's a somber read but there are lots of positives too. I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts on this.

Thank you

Dara

Hello everyone! It's hard balancing homework with blog writing and this took two days to write! It's all about Big Dog Forest in Fermanagh. A very special place with a stunning upland landscape. A truly magical and inspiring place to visit. I go regularly, and even though it's just a short drive from our house, it is like a world away. We see great wildlife there too! I hope you enjoy it!

Hi everyone, my new blog post on The State of Nature Report Northern Ireland launch, which I was very lucky to attend! I talk about how wildlife is doing on my wider 'patch' . Some success stories and some worrying results too!! It was such an amazing experience and has given me even more drive and determination to do what I can to help wildlife.

Hope you enjoy!
