Hey everyone, this new blog post is a creative writing piece I wrote for school. It's about my connection to a special Wild place here in my patch in Fermanagh. I think this connection that's available to all of us, has the ability to broaden our vision of who we are and the transformations that can occur when we let ourselves be free to feel this special connection to nature and wildlife.

I hope you like it.

Hello everyone, my latest blog on my love of citizen science, why and how we can all get involved. I'll be working with my old Primary School to help them with bird ID, feeding birds and counting them for the Big Garden Birdwatch. I'm excited!!

Thanks for reading

Dara

Hello everyone, my latest blog is about an amazing conservation hero. The Konik Pony. They are beautiful animals who also do a great job for nature. It was wonderful to see them up close at a very special place. Read more here - Koniks at Dusk – RSPB Portmore Lough – Young Fermanagh Naturalist

Hi Dara,

Thanks for sharing your blog. I really enjoyed reading about the ponies - it sounds like they're doing a fabulous job (as well as being gorgeous). Our local wildlife trust here in Cornwall has been using ponies to help manage some coastal and moorland sites too.

Keep up the brilliant work, I'll look forward to reading more,

Heather :D

Hi Heather! Thank you so much! I love your blog too! My dad was a marine biologist before he became a conservation scientist, rock pooling is his top thing to do with us ☺️☺️
