Hello everyone, my latest blog is on a very special encounter (with fellow volunteers) of a species which has been brought back from extinction here in Northern Ireland. Such a privilege to be involved. It was worth the very numb toes!!!

Hope you enjoy it!

Hello everyone! I’ve had a wonderfully wild start to the year, my biggest adventure yet, in 2018 was a massive hike, amazing wildlife and raising a lot of money for something very close to my heart. Read all about my odyssey here -

Hello everyone, my latest blog on our recent trip to RSPB Portmore Lough where a special visitor made an appearance; although for me, the local woodland birds always bring a smile!

Read about it here :- https://youngfermanaghnaturalist.com/20 ... ossy-ibis/

Hope you enjoy it.

Thank you

Hello everyone! I hope everyone in the UK and Ireland is keeping safe with the severe weather warnings issued! It’s hard to believe that today is the meteorological first day of Spring! If you didn’t see the crocuses and snowdrops poking out from the snow, you’d feel like winter was just beginning. A little blog about our garden birds and how they’re faring in the cold snap.

Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks!

Hello everyone, today the light and warmth in the air was breathtaking, Spring was definitely in the air and we saw some wonderfully evocative signs of the season of awakening.
Hope you enjoy it :-)
