Leon Baas is a Dutch nature photographer with a great passion for small bugs.

He is constantly searching for new ways to photograph insects in their natural habitat.

By experimenting with light sources using self-made depth of field (dof) filters and a special wide-angle macro lense he has developed an original way of capturing a bug's life. 

Over the years, Leon's photography has achieved publishing success in magazines, newspapers and advertising campaigns due to his distinctive style of photography.
