Botswana's Okavango Delta photo gallery by Neil Aldridge
Photojournalist Neil Aldridge explores the relationship between wildlife and water in the ever-changing ecosystem of Botswana's Okavango Delta.
Neil Aldridge is a conservation photojournalist, author and wildlife guide.
In 2012 he travelled to northern Botswana to photograph the intricate relationship between wildlife and water and see how the annual flooding of the Okavango Delta dictates animal movements and behaviour.
In this gallery he shows us how Selinda lions spend their free time, how the yawn of a hippo can make you think twice about getting closer to take a picture, and how one of the Okavango Delta's smallest inhabitants influences the fortunes of the region's wildlife.
