British marine life photo gallery by Paul Kay

Paul Kay has been taking underwater photographs around Britain and Ireland for 30 years and is especially interested in marine fish.

He is a photographer, writer and naturalist and this combination is reflected in his latest books above. 

He has won various awards and has had thousands of images published worldwide.

Paul tries to steer a course between natural history photography and applied photography (he studied scientific photography) where he uses his images as a tool for information gathering and identification.
