About the photographer
David is a lifelong birdwatcher and naturalist, and has always drawn his inspiration from his observations of the natural world.
He has been photographing wildlife for about 30 years, turning professional 12 years ago following a 30-year career as a police officer in the Wiltshire Constabulary.
His work has been published in numerous books, calendars, cards, newspapers and magazines around the world with many magazine covers to his credit.
