About the photographer
Neil Aldridge is a conservation photojournalist, author and wildlife guide.
In 2012 he travelled to northern Botswana and spent time walking with the Bushmen of the Kalahari on the fringe of the vast Makgadikgadi Pans, courtesy of Uncharted Africa and Jack's Camp.
In this photo gallery, Neil shows us how the traditions of our oldest relatives are being kept alive and how they survive through an unrivalled knowledge of their environment.
