India's last lions photo gallery by Uri Golman

Uri Golman is a conservation and wildlife photographer. He is an Associate Fellow of ILCP (International League of Conservation Photographers) and is a local Pro-Ambassador for Canon Denmark.

A personal book project brought him to India where he spent several months documenting the endangered wildlife there. The book, Tiger Spirit, won WWF Panda Book of the Year in 2011.

It was during this work that Uri photographed the last stronghold of the Asiatic lion in Gir Forest, Gujarat.

Uri is currently working on a new project called Wild North, which aims to communicate local conservation in the Arctic.
