Discover Wildlife

Italian wildlife photo gallery by Marco Colombo

About the photographer

Marco Colombo has loved the wildlife of his native Busto Arsizio, Italy, since childhood when he spent his time looking for snakes, spiders and insects, touching tree bark, spying on wild boar and foxes, and admiring the sea and its colourful inhabitants.

So when his father taught him the basics of photography, capturing the natural world on camera seemed like the next obvious step.

“Looking for certain species is always intriguing,” he says, “and the pleasure of research is sometimes equal to the pleasure of taking photographs.”

Marco is currently studying natural sciences in Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy.
