Wildlife art book gallery: There and Back?
About There and Back?
There and Back? is a celebration of migration, inspired by the publishers’ visits to Malta as a BirdLife international volunteer.
The book features work from internationally renowned wildlife artists such as Carry Akroyd, Barry van Dusen, Alan Harris, Lisa Hooper, Szabolcs Kokay, Bruce Pearson, Greg Poole, Dan Powell, Chris Rose, Andrew Stock and Michael Warren.
They were asked to illustrate a number of essays by a range of authors, including scientists, bird-ringers, photographers, law enforcement officers, ornithologists and birdwatchers.
The book covers the journeys of birds of international conservation concern: spoon- billed sandpipers, sociable plover and black- tailed godwits, along with more familiar species. Many of these are shown within the context of international bird legislation/agreements.
All royalties from the sale of this book will go direct to BirdLife International Malta. For details, please click here.
