BBC Countryfile Live returns in 2017

With a whole host of exciting new attractions for 2017, the show brings together everything visitors cherish about our countryside, from wildlife and farming, to outdoor pursuits and food, for everyone to enjoy.

Watch the video from the first Countryfile Live in 2016:

Take a wander in the Wildlife Zone

A packed programme of activities, workshops, events and demonstrations will lure you to the Wildlife Zone. The area is being managed by the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT), who are on a mission to give visitors to BBC Countryfile Live a taste of the wild.

“We’ve got bees, reptiles, story-telling, a composting zone and scything demonstrations,” said Estelle Bailey, BBOWT’s chief executive, “Kids can even get their hands dirty making seed balls to take home.”

Deep in the Wildlife Zone you’ll meet experts who’ve brought their favourite animals along, including bats, snakes and crayfish. Children can build giant nests, try their hand at some wildlife detective work.

Or are you up for the ‘Wild Challenge’? Can you jump as high as a frog? Or balance like a squirrel? There’s a certificate for every ‘Wildlife Challenge’ contender.

And don't forget to pop by the BBC Wildlife stall and say hello!

There’s more to discover, thanks to teams from other wildlife groups:
