Hungry, Hungry Wombats

These hungry wombats were filmed by Pepper Bush Adventures' wildlife guide Craig Williams on tour at Cradle Mountain. Wombats are Australian marsupials; they are short-legged, muscular quadrupeds, approximately 1 metre (39 in) in length with a tail that is a mere nubbin. They are found in forested, mountainous, and heathland areas of south-eastern Australia and Tasmania.

Tassie Brush Tail Possum

This brush tailed possum was filmed eating a piece of apple in the fork of a tree in the Tyne Valley by Pepper Bush Adventures' wildlife guide Craig Williams. The brush tailed possum is one of seven species and is about the size of a cat. It has a pointy snout and a pink nose. Its whiskers are long. They can grow to as big as 550mm long plus a tail which is another 250-400mm long. The tail is prehensile and assists the sharp claws in climbing trees

Eastern Quolls in the Tyne Valley

The Eastern Quoll, also known as the Eastern Native Cat, is a medium-sized carnivorous dasyurid marsupial native to Australia. They are now considered extinct on the mainland, but remain widespread and even locally common in Tasmania. These eastern quolls are were filmed on a Pepper Bush Adventures' Quoll Patrol tour and our wildlife guide Craig Williams has a compelling affinity with these little characters of the Tasmanian bush.
