Readers of BBC Wildlife Magazine will know all about our Tales from the Bush section, where people recount amazing experiences out in the wild.

In recent months we’ve featured trips to see snowy owls in the Netherlands, parrot surveys in West Africa, photographing bears in New Hampshire and working in a raccoon orphanage in Canada.

“We want people to post a synopsis of no more than 150 words on the forum telling us about a really memorable wildlife encounter,” says travel editor James Fair. “Start a new topic and post your story along with any images you want to share and we will feature some of the best online. We hope to commission some of the best in print to appear in the magazine.”

Simply, email wildlife@immediate.co.uk with your story and contact details.
