February 2012 photo contest: Winter blues

We'd love to to see your best photos of wildlife in winter – from great flocks of starlings to foxes surviving in the snow. If you've wrapped up warm and sat patiently with your camera over the cold months, then send in your best winter wildlife snaps!


Each month the editor's favourite images are featured in the Your Photos pages of the current issue and the ones with the most votes may even be showcased in our two-weekly newsletter.


The editor's choice is final and correspondence will not be entered into.


The final date for submissions is 1 March 2012.


The final date for voting is 31 March 2012.


Don't forget that although you can only upload your images for a month, you can still vote for another month after that and encourage your friends to vote. All votes submitted by the final deadline will count.
