November 2011: Signs of autumn

The nights are drawing in and it's time to dig out the gloves and scarves – autumn is a wonderful time for watching wildlife. We want to see your photos of this fantastic changeover season. From thick carpets of golden leaves to the animals getting ready for winter, whether hibernating or migrating, show us your best images from this remarkable time of year.


Each month the editor's favourite images are featured in the Your Photos pages of the current issue and the ones with the most votes may even be showcased in our two-weekly newsletter.


The editor's choice is final and correspondence will not be entered into.


The final date for submissions is 1 December 2011.


The final date for voting is 1 January 2012.


Don't forget that although you can only upload your images for a month, you can still vote for another month after that and encourage your friends to vote. All votes submitted by the final deadline will count.
