Palma Aquarium – Advertisement

Palma Aquarium is much more than an aquarium; it is a spectacular Marine Park that faithfully recreates the world’s seas and oceans ecosystems by displaying the harmony between fish and corals. Located in the heart of Playa de Palma, on the island of Mallorca, it has become a benchmark for ocean respect and environmental commitment in the Balearic Islands.
It presents a unique experience to discover the Mediterranean Sea and Tropical Oceans with hundreds of different marine species living alongside the largest variety of corals and anemones in Europe. The combination of the marine life together with the Mediterranean garden and the jungle, create a feeling of complete fascination to enjoy, understand and appreciate the wonderful world of the sea and its extreme relevance to our lives.
The park also includes the Big Blue, one of the deepest shark tanks in the world. It allows visitors to understand the reality of these strong, beautiful and so unfairly stigmatized animals, with activities like the shark vision boat, or the opportunity to enjoy a shark sleepover.
The visit offers as well an exhibition and a 3D experience about humpback whales to raise awareness about the importance of these ocean giants.
