Our countryside abounds with birds, bees and beasts of all shapes and sizes.
Even in our biggest cities, you are never far away from nature.
The Wildlife Zone at BBC Countryfile Live will be buzzing with hints, tips and hands-on help for anyone who wants to watch or care for the world around us.
- Be amazed by the epic Flight of the Swans; one woman’s mission to fly with Bewick’s swans migrating from arctic Russia to the UK and broadcasting the adventure from her powered parachute.
- See working beehives, watch honey being produced and learn how wax candles are made.
- Discover the tradition of skep-making, build a bug hotel or make a nest-box to take home.
- Visit a pop-up nature reserve and explore the wonderful world of wildlife.
The Wildlife Zone at BBC Countryfile Live involves the Wildlife Trusts, BBOWT (the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust), the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and the British Beekeeping Association.
BBC Countryfile Live takes place at Blenheim Palace on 4 to 7 August 2017. Find out more about the event here.
