Wendy Furness

Wendy Furness is a veterinary surgeon and conservationist with a particular interest in threatened species and the complex relationship between wildlife, domestic animals and people. She is a Trustee of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust and the Painted Wolf Foundation and has worked and volunteered on conservation and veterinary projects in southern Africa, including Botswana and Namibia. A keen wildlife photographer, she uses photography and storytelling to share the extraordinary lives of animals and the challenges facing the species and ecosystems she encounters.
