Parents of young kids (and those who are young are heart) can rejoice – as Deadly 60 is back!
Wildlife presenter and naturalist Steve Backshall returns with a new series of the TV show, which is coming soon to CBBC and BBC iPlayer.
“New opening, even wilder adventures!” Backshall wrote on his Instagram account, alongside a trailer of the upcoming series. “More close calls, multiple continents and some of the most feared animals on the planet.”

When is Deadly 60 coming back?
The seventh series of Deadly 60 will be available on CBBC and BBC iPlayer from Friday 27 March 2026.

In each series of Deadly 60, adventurer Steve Backshall tracks down the world’s ‘most deadly’ animals – not dangerous to humans, but animals that are deadly in their own habitats.
