What is Cheetah Family And Me about?
Wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan embarks on his latest adventure to get close and personal with another animal family – this time, following two cheetah mums as they work against all odds to protect and provide food for their gorgeous young cubs.

Gordon tracks ‘Savannah’ and her six-month old cubs through the Tswalu Kalahari reserve, which is in the grip of a multi-year drought. 800 kilometres to the south at the Samara Reserve, we meet ‘Chilli’, another cheetah mother who has recently given birth to a new litter.
These fuzzy, tiny kittens are lead on an epic journey to follow migrating antelope – but to get there means travelling through a valley filled with deadly lions and elephants.
Gordon takes us along on this exhilarating journey as he sees first-hand the challenges both Savannah and Chilli must adapt to in a changing world – even if that means risking it all.
