The winners of the 2026 Audubon Photography Awards have been announced by the National Audubon Society, with prizes awarded to residents of Chile, Colombia, the United States and Canada.
Many of the birds found in Chile, Colombia, Canada and the US are threatened by habitat loss and climate change. Audubon works to protect these at-risk species through coordinated efforts across countries and regions.
Now in its 17th year, the Audubon Photography Awards celebrate photos and videos that capture the beauty of birds and the challenges they face. This year, judges awarded nine prizes to Chile and Colombia residents and eight prizes to US and Canada residents.
