Submit your wildlife photos

BBC Wildlife Magazine runs two photographic competitions – the Your Photos competition for the magazine, and the monthly Online Photo Contests.

Both photography competitions are entered via an external website. Please note that you will need to register on this website in order to submit photos. If you were registered on the old Discover Wildlife website, your accounts details have not been transferred, and you will need to make a new account.

Your Photos

Images submitted to the Your Photos competition are considered for publication in an upcoming issue of the magazine.

The winning image for each issue will be awarded Star Photo and a prize, which will be provided by the prize provider for the issue that the image is published in.

Entrants should ensure that they read the full terms and conditions before entering the competition.

Online monthly photo contests

Each month BBC Wildlife runs an online themed photo contest, which can be voted on by other readers.

Simply upload your images each month and then vote for the images you like best.

The BBC Wildlife team's (and an independent party) favourite images will be featured on our social media accounts, and may be showcased in our weekly e-newsletter.

The overall winning image will be chosen by the BBC Wildlife team, and an independent party, from the images with the most votes and will be shared as the photo of the month on our social media.

Entrants should ensure that they read the full terms and conditions before entering the photo contests.
