Competition: Your Photos

Images submitted to the Your Photos competition are considered for publication in an upcoming issue of the magazine.

The winning image for each issue will be awarded Star Photo and a prize, which will be provided by the prize provider for the issue that the image is published in.

Photos need to be entered via an external website. Please note that you will need to register on this website in order to submit photos. If you were registered on the old Discover Wildlife website, your accounts details have not been transferred, and you will need to make a new account.

Entrants should ensure that they read the full terms and conditions before entering the competition.

Photo of the Day

Our monthly photo contests have now been closed, and replaced with Photo of the Day.

Each day we feature a photograph by a reader on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) as our Photo of the Day. To be considered for Photo of the Day, photographers should use #BBCWildlifePOTD on their social media posts.

If you do not have social media, you can e-mail Megan Shersby. Please do not send more than three images at time. It is best to send low-resolution images to begin with, as our e-mail systems often reject e-mails with large attachments.

We also welcome photographs for our Monday Mystery and Caption Competition posts. Please see our 'How to contribute photos' article for more information.
