Filming took place in several cities and national parks in Thailand. The main national parks used for filming were: Khao Phanom Bencha National Park in Krabi; Ko Kradan at Hat Chao Mai National Park in Trang; and Ao Phang Nga National Park in Phang Nga.
Malta
Production later moved to Malta Film Studios in Kalkara, with filming taking place in two horizon-infinity water tanks – suggesting that the film will feature extensive underwater scenes.
UK
Studio scenes were shot at Sky Studios Elstree in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. Other films recently shot there include Wicked and Paddington 3.
