After a successful first and second series that focused on the dinosaurian dynasty, the new series of Prehistoric Planet revolves around the megafauna of the Ice Age.

The award-winning British actor Tom Hiddleston will narrate series three, after David Attenborough narrated the first and second series of Prehistoric Planet.

The five part-series reveals the epic struggles and stories of the prehistoric giants that flourished after the demise of the dinosaurs, including woolly rhinos, rock-climbing snow sloths and terrifying sabre-toothed tigers.

Journey through an ancient world of vast tundras, barren deserts, expanding grasslands and melting permafrost as these creatures battle for survival in the extreme climate.
