As the sun rose over Kenya’s Maasai Mara, Caroline and her son Arthur Palmer experienced a true bucket-list moment on their African safari – a hot air balloon trip above Kenya’s Massai Mara during August's migration season.

"Little did we know that on our flight route, a lioness was on the hunt for breakfast. We dipped low to follow her, a roar letting us know that we weren’t welcome, as she stalked an innocent hyena out for an early morning stroll."
