With 68 species, eagles can be found around the globe, from Africa and Asia to Europe and North America. These powerful birds of prey often dominate the skies, diving down onto unsuspecting prey from above.

The golden eagle is the fastest eagle in the world and can reach speeds of up to 150-200 miles per hour when swooping down to hunt. Eagles' sharp talons and beaks make light work of dispatching their prey – combined with their remarkable eyesight, this makes them formidable apex predators.
