In Wild London and Wild Isles, David Attenborough showed us the spectacular (and often hidden) wildlife that can be found across the capital and the UK countryside.

Now, in a new TV series for the BBC, he’s turning his attention to what can be found in our gardens.

Who presents Secret Garden?

David Attenborough will present Secret Garden. The BBC announced the series to mark Attenborough’s 100th birthday, which is on Friday 8 May.

When can you watch Secret Garden?

While we don’t know exactly when Secret Garden will be released, it will likely be available to watch on the BBC and on BBC iPlayer.

What is Secret Garden about?

Secret Garden is a five-part series set in different gardens across the UK. In each episode, we meet the gardeners who created these wild oases – as well as the animals that inhabit them. From pine martens in the Western Highlands to blue tits in Bristol, dormice in South Wales, swallows in the Lake District and otters in Oxfordshire, the series reveals an undiscovered world right on our doorstep.
