The world is full of breathtaking landscapes, from the deep gorges and otherworldly rock formations of the Grand Canyon in the US state of Arizona, to the mighty peaks of the Himalayas in South and East Asia.
Rivers add another dimension to many of these places, especially when they fall in great cascades down rocky slopes and over cliff edges.
