Taking place at Walthamstow Wetlands from 9—11 August 2019, the festival will be the city’s largest ever event dedicated entirely to the nature and wildlife found on its doorstep.

The weekend has a diverse range of events taking place for all ages, including activities for kids that cover wildlife gardening and bushcraft.

Workshops include a variety of activities designed for participants to connect with nature, including outdoor yoga, ceramics, natural balm making, and willow weaving. There is also opportunity to learn more about conservation directly from experts, including David Lindo (The Urban Birder, who co-curated the event along with London Wildlife Trust), who will be leading a guided walk, on which you'll learn bird identification and pick up fieldcraft advice.

Throughout the weekend, talks and debates will be taking place, as well as live performances, film screenings, literary events, and guided nature works on the grounds of Europe’s largest urban wetlands.

Use discount code WILDFRIENDS to save 10% when buying your tickets.
